VITEEE is vellore institute of technology engineering entrance examination. VIT is private university.


  • A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB)
  • A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and from the North Eastern States of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh
  • Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) candidates are eligible for all the programmes
  • Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Biotechnology & Biomedical Engineering programmes


VITEEE Application Form can be obtained against cash payment of Rs.750/- from the various Post Officeslisted.

  • You have read the instructions carefully.

  • You have entered your correct PINCODE.
  • You have indicated your correct STD code and Phone No. / Mobile No.
  • You have mentioned your correct e-mail address.
  • You have signed in the space provided below the photograph and in the declaration form.
  • Your parent / guardian has signed the declaration form.
  • You have had your application attested in the space provided.
  • You have not used any pins or stapler in your application.
  • You have clearly indicated whether you require hostel accommodation or not.
  • You have entered the correct Test City Code on the envelope provided.
  • You have retained a photocopy of your application.


VIT Engineering entrance examination contains 120 questions which should be cover in 2.5 hrs. or in 150 min.Questions are normal not very easy not very tough. There are 3 sections of maths, physics & chemistry containing 40 questions each. there is no negative marking in exam


If you want to get admissin in vellore university then note it that your VITEEE rank should not exceed 15,000.Aproximately 1.5-2 lacs students appear in this examination. So remember these points and crack the examination.
